"Great whale watching tour from Dalvik"
5We went for a whale watching tour from Dalvik. The weather was amazing! Unfortunately the waves were a bit rough because we had to sail a bit our of the fjord. Therefore it took a little while before we saw the first whale (a massive fin whale), but we were not disappointed because it kept circling around the boat, so we got to see a lot of it! On our way back we also saw a humpback whale and of course we went fishing and caught some fish. Unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy the bbq, be...
"Best Whale Watching Experience Ever"
5The tour was well organized and efficiently run. We saw perhaps 20 Humpbacks and two Minkes very close to the boat. The fishing was fun when we got back to harbor and the grilled fillets were heavenly. It was one of the highlights of our tour of Iceland
"Fantastic whale watching"
5We had an amazing trip with this group seeing dozens of humpback whales close to the boat as well as some dolphins. The guys were really good with finding the whales and giving us information. We also did some fishing which didn’t really interest me though was good to see the size of the fish and enjoyed the fish barbecue. Important to know that you really need a car to get there. We were in akureyrei and had hoped to get a bus but they are variable, we ended up having to hire a car - we would h...
"Does not disappoint!"
5This is a must do when travelling to Iceland. We landed on this tour after alot of research. The small groups, warm clothing and sea angling sealed the deal when we were deciding. I am so glad we chose as we did. The guide and captain put us on whales quickly and allowed us to watch them in their natural habitat. Highly recommended!
